A big storm has struck the pacific coast and lots of rain and heavy winds. Crabbing and fishing has come to a halt. we have all our Christmas shopping done thank goodness and I have all my correspondence caught up. Got a call from my fishing friend from Gold Beach Oregon and he said the wind up there has been very heavy. Steelhead fishing was good until this storm hit on the Rogue River and here on the Eel river also,
My quail project has been put on hold until the weather clears. I have about 17 to go before I get them all in the freezer.
Steve and I had a beautiful day to crab fish on Saturday, but we only got 2 keepers which I cooked up for Norma and myself. I got about a zillion small crabs in my pots and rings, well, maybe they will be bigger next time..
