The big storm front has passed on and will be dumping snow on the central states i expect -I got back to my quail project to day and now only have 12 left to process- I worked on making an extension handle for my electric motor that I use on my pram, hopefully I can get back to crabbing in a few days-My friend from Gold Beach Oregon is wanting me to come up for steelhead fishing but I will have to wait until Christmas and New Years holidays have passed. there was a lot of steelhead in the Eel river but I expect they have gone up river with this storm. The days have been very busy this week, I wonder how I did all this stuff and held a 24 hour 7 days a week on job with the construction dept of Califonia highways dept. My ol cross country high altitude mountain partner just passed on at age 91-We did 15 tears in the mountains of California searching for the Golden Trout-we found them quite often and we admired the beautiful colors of these fish- I was 73 on my last solo backpacking trip into the 12,000 foot range for one last try at a hugh lake trout I had almost caught one time. I could not get him to rise for my lure after tryin for 4 days. good memories though..
